We’re Juul Laurenssen and Marynke Algera, two spatial design graduates who met during our time at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. What started as shared studio tables and long nights in the workshop turned into a deep creative connection.

With a shared fascination for immersive experiences, natural elements, and storytelling through technology, we founded Nual, a visual studio where art, space, and digital media meet.
From live visuals and interactive installations to conceptual design experiments, we explore how light, sound, and motion can create personal, layered experiences.

We believe in the power of visuals to move people, not just through aesthetics, but by evoking emotion, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.
